It has been a busy week. But, I still managed to get some photography. I went back to my Canon 24mm lens to try to capture some full scenes. Here are a few of the photos I made this week. I’ve also been sharing my daily photography attempts on my TikTok.
I went to the Highlands with my new 24mm lens to see if I could get anything interesting over the weekend. I stand by my thoughts from the other day about this lens; it’s good for capturing scenes and sets and vibes in areas. I think my 50mm is better for capturing interesting shots of people. Sometimes, especially when I’m out with my 50mm lens, I forget to turn around and look behind me. With this new 24mm lens, I wanted to start off strong by at least remembering to turn around and see what’s there. I can get some interesting lighting and perspectives that way. Coming from the 50mm, the 24mm is wider than I’m used to, so I’m still playing with perspective and composition a little. I think these turned out pretty alright for some quick shots. Technically, these aren’t photos of the Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville. But, you can see it in them so that’s good enough for me. I like how these turned out. The second one is a little underwhelming, might have to crop it, or try to get a better shot sometime. I was trying out my 24mm lens. I’ve been testing my Canon 24mm lens for a few days.
