Podcast

I recently bought a nice microphone and started pushing buttons that I don’t completely understand. Now I have a podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. It’s called Equipment Test!

On Equipment Test!, I talk about my week in blogging, creative writing, and being gay. It’s basically my blog in audio form.

My Podcast is hosted by Buzzsprout. You can subscribe to my Podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, and other services.

Publications

Sometimes I post my short stories on my blog. Other times, I submit the stories to literary journals and magazines. If a piece gets published in a journal or lit-mag, I'll link to the newer ones here. So far, I have not had much luck, but check back often because I hear it's my turn any day now.

My opinions are my own. I've blogged on this website since 2014. That's a long time. My opinions change over time as I learn new things.

My name is Eric Shay Howard and I live in Indianapolis. I’m a graduate student in an MFA in Creative Writing program. I teach middle/high school English/Language Arts.
